Embracing Parenthood Program
The Embracing Parenthood program is an educational program designed to help you understand what to expect in pregnancy and through early childhood.
Learn parenting and communication skills and find out how to start building and maintaining healthy family relationships.
There are many topics to choose from and our staff will help you put together a lesson plan that is tailored to fit your individual, personal, and family needs.
Regularly scheduled lessons include videos, worksheets, and pamphlets that provide important and interesting information about pregnancy, your baby, your parenting and family relationships while earning Parent Bucks.
Best of all, you will work with a Mentor-Mom or Mentor-Dad who will be able to help you understand the challenges and joys that lie ahead for you and your family!

What Can I Earn?
With your "Parent Bucks" you can "purchase" baby clothes, maternity clothes, diapers, formula, and baby furniture such as cribs, strollers, high chairs, and more!
All items are donated to the store by caring people in the community and may not always be in stock. Most of the items are "gently used".
Childbirth Education Classes
The birth of a child is a precious and important event; an experience of great significance and value. Childbirth classes can help prepare Mom and Dad for this life-changing experience. Our trained volunteers will help you learn how to make the most of this important event. Contact HPC for more information.
