HeartReach isn't just for the ladies.

WHAT OUR MALE CLIENT'S SAY

“They care and are helpful. They don't judge.”

Is She pregnant?

You both need information and support. We can help.

What you can do right now:

Talk with her and listen to her. Keep the lines of communication open between the two of you as much as you can. Try not to close yourself off emotionally because her situation involves you, too, and she needs you now more than ever.

If she's willing to come to HeartReach Center for a pregnancy test and ultrasound appointment, we can help both of you find out if she is pregnant and if that pregnancy is viable, which means it is progressing normally. We can also help the two of you talk through all of your pregnancy options, and connect you with other community resources that may help as well.

You can also educate yourself, collect information and seek advice from people you trust. Even if she isn't ready to come into HeartReach for an appointment, you can. We have male team members who would be happy to talk to you privately, man-to-man.

What not to do:

Don’t pressure her to do what you want or to make any immediate decisions. You both need to get answers and take some time to process what is best for you, for her and potentially for your unborn baby.

Don't stop communicating with her. Express your feelings and add your input whenever it’s needed.

Don’t run from her or your responsibilities. The more you try to avoid this situation, the harder things will get.

Want to learn to be a dad?

Being a dad is tough sometimes. You aren't supposed to have all the answers.

HeartReach has a mentor program for dads and dads-to-be that can help you learn to be the partner and father you want to be. We offer over 400 practical lessons that you and your mentor can tailor to address your specific situation and growth areas.
